Overview

Platform engineering for a multi-tenant, multi-region HR SaaS platform. Worked on frontend, backend, and devops.

Highlights

  • Designed and implemented a micro frontend architecture for the web application, using React and Webpack 5´s Module Federation plugin.
  • Implemented a UI components library using React, Material UI, SASS and Rollup, distributed as npm package to be consumed by the micro frontends.
  • Streamlined the generation and integration into the shell application of new micro frontends using shared configurations distributed as npm package, a centralized module registry, code templates, and how-to documentation.
  • Implemented an Azure based event hub to validate, process and store each module events.
  • Designed and implemented a custom role-based access control system, where each module could setup actions, resources and roles for their APIs and assign them to specific tenants.
  • Implemented hardened Docker images based on rootless images for deploying React (exposed though Nginx) and .NET applications in Kubernetes.
  • Implemented multi-environment Terraform projects and modules for a private Azure infrastructure.
  • Implemented Helm charts for all modules to be deployed in Kubernetes.
